Quotes are based on the details, photos and access information provided. If the job changes after inspection, Urban Fix will explain the change before further work proceeds.
Terms / Disclaimer
Clear scope, safe work and the right specialist where required
Urban Fix is a handyman and property maintenance service. Some work must legally or safely be completed by qualified tradespeople, and we will be clear about that before a job proceeds.
Regulated work
- Regulated gas work must be completed by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
- Major electrical work must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
- Urban Fix can carry out minor permitted tasks or arrange the correct qualified tradesperson.
Materials
Materials may be supplied by the customer, included in the quote or charged separately. This will be confirmed before the job is booked where possible.
Access and parking
Customers are responsible for making safe access available at the agreed time, including any keys, permissions, parking information or building entry details.
Photos and confirmation
For landlords, Airbnb hosts and managed properties, completion photos can be provided where appropriate and where the technician can safely capture the finished work.
Waste and clearance
Waste removal and small clearance jobs depend on the type and quantity of waste. Responsible disposal requirements may affect the quote.
Emergency requests
Urban Fix can triage urgent repairs, but emergency availability depends on area, job type and whether a qualified specialist is required.
